Your ceramic art will be lovingly packed and boxed to ensure safe delivery, whether it’s traveling to Illinois or Italy. We have many years of experience with packing and shipping ceramics and do everything we can to make sure our products arrive safely to their destination. Please note in the product description whether an item requires a longer delivery time, because some of our products are made per order.
You should receive an email confirmation after you’ve placed an order. Upon shipment of your order, you will receive an additional email containing the tracking information for your package.
All orders are processed and shipped Monday – Friday, 10am – 6pm.
Please allow 1-2 business days for your order to be processed and shipped for items that are in stock. Should you need your item to arrive on or by a specific date please contact firstname.lastname@example.org.
Light + Ladder ships via USPS for all orders in the US. We ship via USPS Priority Mail, through which customers receive their items in 2-3 business days (Monday-Friday) from the date of dispatch. Should you need your item to arrive sooner, please inquire at email@example.com and we will upgrade if possible. Upgraded shipping will incur additional shipping cost.

Light + Ladder ships via USPS for all international orders. We ship via USPS First Class Mail, through which customers receive their items in 7-10 business days (Monday-Friday) from the date of dispatch. We use USPS First Class Mail because it’s most cost-effective for our customers. Please note that this method does NOT provide tracking information once it has left the US. If you would like to be able to track your package outside of the US, please email us at email@example.com and ask to upgrade to Priority Mail International or Global Express. Upgraded shipping will incur additional shipping cost.
Please familiarize yourself with your country’s custom regulations before making international orders. Your country may impose import duties, taxes, etc. These fees are the responsibility of the buyer.
A helpful hint for international shipments: please be sure to look for a slip from your local post office in 7-10 days from shipment. You may need to retrieve your order from the post office in order to pay duties, in other words, if you don’t pick up the package in person, it may be returned. If your package is not claimed within 14 days, it will be returned to us as unclaimed. In the event that a package is unclaimed, you will need to pay additional shipping for us to resend.
Sending a Light + Ladder piece as a gift? How lovely! We are more than happy to gift wrap your order or add a custom note. Add a note with your preference when checking out or email firstname.lastname@example.org. Also, since we send receipts via email, there won’t be one included in the box.
We accept all major credit cards.
Prices listed on our website are shown exclusive of applicable taxes. Sales tax will only be applied to orders shipped within the state of New York. Please note that the actual sales tax will be calculated when your order is shipped.
Your privacy is our foremost concern. The information you enter will never be disclosed to any outside organization or third party.
We stand behind the products we make 100%. If you are not satisfied with any of our products, please let us know. When ordering planters, please remember to double-check the dimensions to ensure that you get the right size for the intended space.
Every order is packed carefully to ensure that all items arrive at your door safely. Should a piece arrive in damaged condition, please email us at email@example.com within 48 hours of receiving the package with a photo of the damage. We also ask that you hold on to all parts of the piece until we’ve provided further instructions.
Should you decide that your Light + Ladder piece is not right for you, please contact us within 7 days of receipt to initiate a return. Please note that shipping charges are non-refundable and the buyer is responsible for the return of the merchandise in a resalable condition. Refunds will not be issued for goods that arrive to us damaged so please take care in repackaging our goods so that it does not break in transit. The refund will be issued when we receive the item.
Please note that all sales are final on custom work. No refunds or returns will be issued.
